Food Runner/Busser - Part-time
Position Title: Host/Food Runner
Reports To: Manager
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Manager the Host/Food Runner will consistently execute the service standards of FruitCraft. The Host/Food Runner is expected to follow all FruitCraft policies, prioritize the company during working hours while being a positive and supportive team member.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Greeting and seating guests, informing them of menu items.
Stocking and organizing side stations.
Answering phones and making reservations, acknowledging wait times.
Follow and execute FruitCraft front of house policies.
Possess knowledge of FruitCraft company history and products.
Direct customer or any event inquiries to management.
Complete opening, closing and daily assigned tasks including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, restocking bathrooms.
Monitor, re-order and stock bar inventory.
Comply with all health/safety requirements.
Running food during service and setting up food during events.
Bussing tables during service and events.
Maintain a fun and safe atmosphere for guests.
Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel; able to carry 40 or more pounds; move tables and chairs from one part of the venue to another during events.
Efficiently set up and break down for events.
Obtain a L.E.A.D certificate (License Education on Alcohol and Drugs) and SafeServ.
Be proactive in all functions of the roll.
Communicate regularly, tactfully and professionally.
Work as a collaborative team player.
Ability to balance and project manage multiple responsibilities.
Flexibility with day to day tasks.
Ability to make decisions for the better good of FruitCraft.
Excellent knowledge of company products/history and trends in craft.
Excellent customer service skills.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
$13/hr plus tips, part-time.
At FruitCraft we believe that all front of house and back of house staff are needed to execute our standards of service. Tips are pooled and shared on a merit basis with all staff that contribute to the execution of the day of service.
